Welcome to Southampton University Royal Naval Unit's webpage. SURNU comprises of students from a range of Universities including the University of Southampton, Portsmouth University and Southampton Solent University. 


There are 14 units nationwide in the United Kingdom, and their aims are "To educate a wide spectrum of high calibre undergraduates who show potential as society's future leaders and opinion formers in order to better inform them of the need for and role of the Royal Navy, and to develop awareness of career opportunities in the Service."This website aims to provide a variety of useful information regarding SURNU, as well as giving detailed information on the role of URNU's in the United Kingdom.
